Maybe not Balage.

For an 03, I would run the Calmini 3" lift. If you use it offroad, I would go ahead and upgrade the steering components as well.

The tie rod ends are the weak link, even after the upgrade. There is a steering pivot on the passenger side that I would go ahead and add the reinforcement bkt. Even on road with larger tires can fatigue the stock mounting point.
The tie rod ends are larger but still have the same thread size on the ends, so they are still capable of bending. With light off roading, you will be OK, but don't hammer on it!

There is a reinforcement bracket for pitman arm on the passenger side of the vehicle. I would, at least, get that bracket to help prevent stress cracks from starting. Again, it all depends on you driving and how rough you go off road.

I will have to find the info on the tie rod end adjusters. They are still susceptible to bending, just in a different location because they still have the same size threads on each end. So these are not as critical. Maybe buy a couple to keep in your truck if needed. If you get stuck, or try to pull somebody out while in 4X4, the front tires can dig in and actually put enough force into the adjusters that they bend, causing the front 2 tires to point at each other.

I'll try to find some pics later.

That is basically what you get with the calmini kit. HD torsion bars for tube front and extended shackles for rear.
The 1st gen Frontiers do not have a leveling kit like the 2nd gens do.

i think im gonna go with the calmini 3 inch lift kit. but i wanted to get rims and 33s for it but idk what else i have to get if anything to put rims on with those tires. plus is there anything id need to do before i even put lift on? or can i just put the lift on, tires and rims with everything stock?

It'll be hard to get 33s on with just the 3" lift. My son had to add a 2" body lift to the 3" Calmini to get 33s on his truck.

I put a 3" lift on my 04 XE. I believe I got it from 4x4parts.com automotive customizers.

The most I could get to fit on my 2000 desert runner, (sits higher than XE) after cranking on the torsion bars was LT245/75 R16's
And that's approx 30" x 9.50"
