We were thrown a curve ball Saturday...

I was just talking to my brother and there is a new medication coming out for type 2 diabetes which protects the cells that produce insulin from breaking down

my mom, a few aunts, a few of my grandparent's siblings, and a few uncles all have diabetes. thankfully only one of them need insulin shots and the rest are just on medication....i learned to drink diet soda at an early age because of my family. i actually think regular coke/pepsi tastes weird....

They have adjusted his insulin a few times, but we can't seem to get him out of the Low 300's. I don't understand it. He is very good at watching his carb. intake. 179

Just help him try to keep a positive attitude. I can't imagine what it is like to go through this, but remind him he has many people praying for him, and his parents.

I always believed God will take care of you. That He doesn't put any more upon you than you can bear. Just keep that in mind and stay strong.

Thank You Guys. Still adjusting his insulin to get him out of the 200's. He goes to the eye specialist to measure for his new len's. Eye surg. on his left eye November 11th. Little nervous about that, but hopefully it will go smooth and give him his eye sight back in his left eye.
GREATLY appreciate any and all prayers. 163

nine days ago you were telling us about getting out of 300's now its 200's. i know its not a lot but i think that is a very good thing. who knows in another 9 days maybe its high 100s. you son is clearly a fighter and by that trait alone i am sure that eye surgery will go smooth.

will keep the prayers coming....

Quickly--now is the time to send him to military school. Or send him to live with relatives. Or lock him in his room...
