Bus trip
#1
I took these this fall, but am just now getting around to posting them. Sorry for the poor quality, but when you are on the aisle seat you do not have a very good angle for taking pictures.

The building is the Queen Wilhelmina Lodge and the ceramic mail box is their's. There was a constant stream of motorcycles on the entire route as well as at every scenic turn out. We were a little early for the full color effect. We had a very late warm spell and that put us off schedule.

This was in southeastern Oklahoma and southwestern Arkansas on the Talamina drive.

Is that considered part of the Ozark Mt's. My grandfather lived in the Ozarks. That is getting somewhat close to Phelan.

It is the Ouachita Mountains which are south of the Ozarks. This is Phelan's back yard so he can probably tell you a little more about it. It runs from eastern Oklahoma into western Arkansas and is south of Ft. Smith, AR.

If it is a Nissan truck and it is new, call me, text me, PM me, and I will try to save you some money.

Beautiful pictures! So much green and trees! I once stayed in Knoxville, TN area for a week, I've never forgotten those gorgeous Smokey Mountains and all the fleshy green stuff that was all over the place. Especially the Magnolia flowers larger then my palms placed side by side. I have never seen Magnolia trees grow as large in California as they were in Tennessee.

A new Nissan for the 'rents would be a great idea. Someday..someday.

Windy road shots are my favorite.

Same offer applies here as well. If they decide to buy a new Nissan, let me know a day or 90 ahead of time, and I can hook you up with an friend's discount.
