Garmin Mobile and the antenna have been discontinued. There is a Garmin app for the iPhone, but my iPhone screen is much much much smaller than my laptop. And when driving, I would like the larger map.

The Garmin 18x ant is switching on the laptop, but alone is too difficult. Just with navigator.

What if you tried the iPad? There's a geocaching Garmin app for that, correct? I do not like Garmin products. With how I use them and for my drivers, they're just not efficient for the business. For work, I have drivers equipped with the Tom Tom 740LIVE. Only because it is also equipped with Google search function. So that's what I used to go geocaching. TomTom also offers route planners online/offline. So if I save the coordinates on my my laptop first then I can find them that way with a larger screen. Only downfall is I can't search for new spots to hunt unless I enable mobile internet. Wish they would have an app for the tomtom series GPS not just exclusive to Garmin products. Undecided

Today from El Cap here in El Cajon

This was the ramp a year ago, lake was 70% full.

Now it is about to spill 92% full.. This ramp is prolly a 100 yards long and since i have lived here (1990) this ramp has NEVER been used. In fact the end of this upper ramp was usually 100' from the lake. Love this. Lake is huge now, Bass crazy. Cant wait for Summer..

Found this. This launch ramp is prolly 40' under water now. Watch this Hadji have the park rangers fetch his Escalade out of the drink. I cant tell you how many idiots ive seen on the ramps around here, Enjoy.

Glad to see the water levels rise. And, the world is full of stupid people. That ramp is pretty steep. It gets deep quick.

just watched the 1st video. Who was backing the trailer? And what was their influence to the madness?

Backing up a short trailer like that is fairly difficult to do as it wants to come around on you very quickly with even a slight correction in your steering input. Once the driver got down the ramp a little way I thought he/she did quite well.

I drove semis for a couple of years and the longer rigs were easier for me to back, especially if the tandems were slid forward where you could pivot the trailer on the axle.

Never been to El Capitan. Don't know many lakes in SoCal.

Sunset in Arizona.. not bad for cruising at 65mph

Not intended.
This was part of the storm system that spawned several tornadoes Wednesday afternoon. They were all southeast of us this time.

I took this using my cell phone. iPhone with 7MPX camera app.
For a camera phone, I like it.

Hmmm, just noticed, Ranger was snatching it in reverse. A big no no, I realize the winch is on the front but..... OH well its not his truck. Another thing, the owners stepping over the winch cable? Possible good way for birth control. Guess thats how evolution works. lol

I noticed him step over also. Very dangerous. If I ever get a winch, I'll probably do a synthetic line.
