Driver's seat
How many of you have had problems wearing a hole in your driver's seat from getting in and out of your trucks right above the knobs?

RE: Driver's seat
No problems here. Some people did have problems and had the seat replaced under bumper to bumper warranty (3/36). I've used a seat cover the entire time.

RE: Driver's seat
I think that's what I'm gonna have to do next time. I wonder how hard or how much
it would be to recover that seat?

RE: Driver's seat
Haven't had this issue in my truck yet, but my Jeep, 106K miles, has a hole right above the tilt lever, and a tear across the top right above the hole. I worry my Frontier will do the same, but after 61K miles, I have been OK so far.

RE: Driver's seat
I wouldn't mind buying 'real' bucket seats. They will be a lot more comfortable

RE: Driver's seat
I put covers on my seats when the truck was new to avoid this problem and I show no wear on the seat covers. Sandi, it is so good to hear from you.

Bucket seats would be nice,.. but they're not that uncomfortable.. I couldn't handle the *shhhh* Tacoma, had to stretch out every few hundred miles. Lol. Mine's over 61K and no signs of wear & tear on the seats. I don't use seat covers, I baby the interior. Lol. '06 Queen Cab SE |

RE: Driver's seat
i have that problem. ofcourse i think it's because my fat butt can't lift itself over the seat so i have to slide on it most of the time. no biggie though i really don't care if the seat wears down so much i'm planning on having the whole thing recovered in leather and suede. haha make you think you're in a lambo truck
btw i have a little over 70k on my 06 "it does not matter who started the thread, at the end of the day i will be it's last poster...."
