Washed and waxed. Also found a nail in one of the tires so I removed it and plugged it. The TPMS came on but the tires looked good. I checked the pressure and sure enough one of them was low. I am glad I found it, taking a trip to Animal Kingdom in the AM. Now I waiting a bit for the engine to cool off and will go outside to change the oil. 41K miles already -- WOW

Zero Six LE, it is good to see you around here so much once again. Thanks for the compliments, but my poor truck is not as clean as I would like. I was checking tire pressure on the spare this last weekend and noticed that the exhaust system could use a good cleaning. I wonder when that will ever happen? It certainly will have to be when we get past all of the 100º days. we have had lately.

Got an insurance estimate for hail damage. Estimated around 350 dents primarily on the hood and roof. After I get that taken care of, I've got to go back to the body shop that worked on it after the tree fell on it a couple years ago, it has started to rust through the paint on the roof along their welds.

Do you know of any paintless dent repair places around you. If you can find somebody that knows what they are doing, I would take that rout.
350??? Wow! 06 nismo CC 4X4: SOLD and replaced with 2017 Jeep Unlimited Rubicon; Teraflex 3" lift, 315/70-17 Cooper STT PRO tires on Fuel Trophy wheels, JCR bumpers front and rear w/Warn 9.5cti winch in front, Ace sliders, GraBars, Weathertech window deflectors and floor liners

Your ride is looking sharp, Zero Six. I especially like the mud flaps.
Today I took my truck out for a trail ride. It is much happier now. ![]() We did a trail known as the Route of All Evil. There was no water like there typically is in the spring, but there were a few new log crossings. One was on an uphill section. Good times. ![]() Later, I washed off the mud and put the rack on. We plan to go play in a pond out in the national forest tomorrow. Take the dog swimming and such. ![]() ![]() It's a fine line between CLEVER and STUPID. My home page.
