Most all tornado devastation looks similar, but here is a most ominous pic from Saturday's tornado in Yazoo City, MS. It started just north of Tallulah, LA and stayed on the ground until just North of Starkville, MS, ~175 miles and 3 hours later. It was reported to be an EF4 about 1 mile wide while at Yazoo City.

This was ~40 miles from us. We were projected to get bad weather all across the area, but it was very spotty, and spot followed a line between Tallulah and Starkville.

Holy crap
That photo is amazing. Undecided

We were blessed that all of the folks we know through mississippi-mud are safe, but the tornado claimed several lives, a lot of homes, businesses, and the like.
Today's report said up to 1.75 miles wide in places, and the 4th longest path in MS history. Officials will take an aerial trek along the path to determine if it was on the ground the whole way.
Where were the tornado chasers? inside the tornado? Tongue
They were chasing it. Said they couldn't catch it. There was a private video someone made while traveling on I55. They were blown off the interstate along with others. They showed their video on local TV, but I cannot find it right now.
That is amazing!!!
Crazy. Prayers go out to those poor people affected.
terrible, beautiful
