I'm looking to get a bed mat to go over my factory drop-in liner and would appreciate any recommendations or testimonials. I tried searching the forum but my quest proved fruitless. Thanks in advance.
I don't know anyone that has done that. I am sure Shift_Avenger will have some recommendations.
A guy at work has one in his F350 since he carries a sled deck around a few months a year. He also has the drop in liner. I wouldn't put a mat down without a liner of some kind already in, since the rubber tends to sweat and hold moisture under itself. Moisture + liner rubbing around = rust. I think he got the 1/2" thick one, but can't remember for sure. Why would you like one? (just out of curiosity)
Question before any recommendations, what are you looking to do/carry in the bed??

I'm a carpenter so I'll be carrying tools, lumber, building materials, etc. Also the occasional motorcycle. The drop in liner is very slippery and I don't want anything sliding around and denting the bed. I've been looking at the BedRug mat. It's custom fit and contours to the ridges of the drop-in liner, although at $100 it's a tad on the pricey side and I'm not too keen on the mounting procedure. From what I can deduce your supposed to attach the mat through the liner with the provided pins and I don't want to start poling holes in the liner.
There are a few choices and they all are pretty similar, and price is about the same. Here are a few examples: http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/perfo ... mance.html
