I'm looking into redesigning the TCUCA/PRG UCA....to gain more down travel. I hope the price is not to high
It's pretty simple...just eliminate the built in bumpstop and have the frontal arm curved a little higher. Hopefully gain an inch more or so.
Does anybody know how much down travel you gain from OEM uca to aftermarket uca? 1"? maybe 2"???
Be sure to consider the limitations of the CV joints in the half shafts. That is the limiting factor in the Hardbobies and early Frontys. Not sure about late models.

Yeah, i'm also going to ask about that.

Don't you think they would have done that if it were possible? I'm sure both designs are already made to get the most and safest increase possible.

Correct. He verified that when i called. So looks like the most you can get out of aftermarket uca is 1.25"...with the radflos its .75". =2" max with the frontier set up...totally sucks
