Does this stimulus package scare anyone else besides me? There is so much pork attached to it and the President stands up in a press conference and lies through his teeth saying that there is no pork attached. Since Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reed wrote this package I guess he can be excused because I don't think he honestly knows what is included.
Even the Congressmen/women voting on it have not read the whole thing.
The majority of it will not take effect for over a year so how does that stimulate anything?

X4, but we are stock for at least 4 years with the Democrats running things. I just hope that they do not mess things up even more.
Remember they are the ones that pushed for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to start the type of lending that got us in trouble in the first place.

I am not sure you are right on this one. I think it is Rahm Emanual that has been put in charge of the census and with this power they will be able to shift boundaries so that the Democrats can manipulate the vote. I may be a worry wart, but I have some serious concerns about what we are facing this time around. Because of the economic panic Obama has been able to cram most of his programs into the first few weeks of his term instead of fighting for it over a 4 year period.
I think it was Rahm Emanual that said, we should not let a crisis go to waste. Now that my friends is a sick individual.
