My brother sent me an email yesterday of something I had not heard before. Several US States are declaring their sovereignty including AZ, MI, MN, MO, NH, OK, and WA. I am so proud of our state. Senator Tom Coburn R-OK is trying to stop the porkulus bill from passing because of a concern he has on the health care program. It seems that the government will be able to look at a person and determine if they are qualified for the treatment or not. Brings visions of Dr. Korvorkian only this time around it will be the government making the decisions not the individual.

I am telling you folks, you need to start getting concerned about all of the rights we are losing.

I am off to see the wizard, well actually it is more like a peanut butter sandwich, natural I might add.

OkieScot

On Glenn Beck tonight the US Senator from NH said that there are now 20 states who have started this protest in motion. Maybe we can make a difference, let everyone hear you.

Okie
Well, most voted for change. Now they got it.. 171
I forgot to post the website for this movement. www.patriotsforamerica.ning.com/profile ... -declaring

I hope that it works.

Okie
Wow, unfortunately Florida had the Democrats leading the charge 175
Many of the Western States retained the Sovereignity option when joining the Union, Texas is still a Republic, California is still a Republic, and I believe AZ, NM, NV, are as well, also there is No Federal land ownership in Texas, unlike California, where Most of the Acreage is owned by the Feds. Should be interesting in the next few years, California is Broke, if the Feds don't forward some tax money to California, will they start taking over Federal Land? The Presidio in San Francisco is a good example, as are the former Fort Ord lands, all prime real estate.
