I was coming back from getting my 2* timing done, and just had to test it. A guy who thought he was the sh*t was infront of me in a souped up miata. Had an exhaust system on it and he had pillar guages. I kept tyring to pass him before we got on the highway. and he noticed and kept cutting me off.
We get up the ramp. He guns it... I can hear his motor whine... I gun it... pass him almost immediatly... he looks at me shocked and when I look down at my speedo after looking in my mirror to see he was just a spot, I was doing 110.

Yea they do. I dont know what I would do if I had an S/C. My wall in my room would be covered with tickets. haha

With the new law changes in Fl, it only takes 3 over and they can pull you over. On a side note when are you taking her to the track?

they couldnt pull everyone over for 10 over up here (mostly out of staters that really fly), they CAN pull you over for 1 over here if they want but most dont bother until 10+ over. They as much as said they were targetting 15mph over and up on the highway because they just cant pull over everyone that are only 10 over...

as for tickets, just always make sure you are scanning your proximity 200 times a minute and look waay far up ahead. also the telltale signs should not be ignored (mass braking, everyone slowing down, traffic clumping)
the trick is to see the cop before the cop sees you...
Speaking of mazada I raced a turbo portege, thinking I was way in over my head when i heard it spool...Man was it a close race, I was ahead only by a bumper. That guy must have felt like crap paying that much for a turbo on a car and can't even beat a stock truck.
