Well, if you're here, you're viewing the new FrontySpot.com. I have upgraded the software to the brand spanking new release. As a result, a few add-on features that we had before are no longer here (garage, photo album, quick reply...). These will be coming as soon as they're available. Most are in development at this time.
The change may take a little getting used to, but it basically functions the same way as the old board. Also, there are two themes just like the old board.
Please be patient about the new features. I'm about to change jobs and move from Louisiana to Alabama. I will make the necessary additions as time permits. Trust me, I'm trying my best...

The dark background is actually nicer than the default theme. I may change the default one out to something else...

When you click on a link it opens in the same window. Is there a way to make it open a new one?
It looks good, but the one thing that is somewhat of an annoyance is that the site is the same width no matter how big my browser window is. The old version would be the with of my whole monitor (17" widescreen) if the window was.This results in a lot more scrolling when reading posts, and since I have a laptop and rarely use a mouse it's somewhat inconvenient.

Try changing it to the "dark" version, seems to fit better on the screen.

On the homepage under your avatar there is a link for new posts. I shows a number next to it.
It appears that the new posts count never resets itself like it did with the old software. I guess to have everyone check I currently show 74 new posts, yet I think there are only 5 new ones since I shut down last night when it said 69. I did a shutdown to see if that would reset it, but it is still the same. If we find that this is the 75th post since the software came live then this is not working as expected.
It still puts the most recent post first, so it still serves a purpose, but not quite the purpose we are used to.
Also, it was nice when this link was on the top of each page so that if you left the spot open while you went to do other things you could just come back and click on the link at the top to see what changed since you left. Now you have to go back to the home page first and then look for the posts.
This is just my opinion, so take it as you may.

I think you already found it, but you have to click on "Board Index" to get to all the forums. Then click on the one you want to start a new thread in.
Well, here I am trying to learn my way around here again. I tried to send a return pm to Balage and I am not sure if he ever got it or not, It kept telling me there was no recipient. I clicked on the X by his name the first time and then I typed it in the box the second time, but it just keeps telling me no recipient.
I am sure I will like this new system when and if I ever learn my way around it. It is hard to teach little old men new tricks. I should never get Alzheimer's because you guys/gals keep my mind in a whirl.

wow this new layout is cool. it does take some getting used to but i like it. for a while i was stuck with theo other, bland color. and i was afraid that Frontyspot would be like that forever. but i switched to the dark side and it is freakin' unbelievable....

I really like the new updated layout! I also think the "Dark side" is much better, in this case...lol
I'm liking it better each day. The Dark Side of the force is becoming quite strong. Darth Sidious, I mean BL, has done well. Surely we can crush Luke Skywalker and the Rebellion now. Episode 7 just getting started. Let's build a bigger and better indestructable FRONTYSPOT to rule the worlds.
