I have been clicking the automatic log in box for several days now, but still have to log in each time. Is this feature active yet? If so how do you activate it? Thank you.
OkieScot
hmm it works fine for me...
I works for me also. Let me log out and see what is going on..
Are you using the black or the blue background? It gave me an error after I logged in. Then it switched me to the black background I have been using.
Try logging in in the home page:
<!-- l --><a class="postlink-local" href="http://www.frontyspot.com/frontier/home.php]home.php<!-- l -->
If that does not work try here:
<!-- l --><a class="postlink-local" href="http://www.frontyspot.com/frontier/ucp.php?mode=login]ucp.php?mode=login<!-- l -->
I am using the light blue backgraound. I don't know how to get the black background. I have logged in on the home page as well as a couple of the board topic pages.
Maybe I am not sure what automtic log in is. I have to type the first letter of my user name and then it puts up OkieScot which I click on. It automatically enters my pass word and then I click on log in. If that is what it means by automatic log in then I am okay, if not it is not working for me.
Thank you for all of the input. I have to get ready to go to band practice so I'll check in later tonight.

Under the log in the box to remember me should be checked on. If it is working properly you should no need to input anything.
As far as changing to the black background click on the user control panel on the upper left under HOME. That will take you to your user control panel.
Click on the tab for board preferences
On the pull down menu for MyBoard style. Select Prodark instead of Arrow.
Then click submit at the bottom.
Sandi also pointed out that you can increase the font on the board by clicking on the "A" on the upper right side of the screen
Okie,
Did this just start with the new software? Have you changed any of the internet settings on your computer like cookies? If you have changed it to disallow cookies or delete them every time you exit you internet explorer, you will have to log in. But, I am assuming, since it recognizes you as soon as you type "O" for Okie, your computer is saving that info. It's just not passing it to FRONTYSPOT when you logon.
I wouldn't think the color scheme would have anything to do with it. I have issues over at TITANSPOT just like Okie described here. As a moderator, I haven't been auto logging on to protect the forum from others using my computer, but, since this past weekend, it has been logging me on automatically.
Try copying the frontyspot address from the address bar to the following location:
Go to the top pull down menu "Tools", "Options", "Exceptions...", and paste the address into the "Address of Web Site" line and click on "Allow", "Close", and "OK".
I was able to get the black background, but I still cannot get it to log in automatically. I went to the tool bar and did get a place to paste in the web address, but it did not show an exceptions on it. I pasted this website in and now that is my home screen when I turn on the computer, but I still have to log in.
I am going back to the arrow background as it is much easier for me to see. Thank you for trying to help me, but I am not smart enough to know how to figure this computer out.

Okie, you pasted for the home screen address. Whatever you want to be your home screen, you can put there.
I did tell you incorrect about allowing cookies. I use Mozilla Firefox as my explorer rather than Internet Explorer by Microsoft. Firefox recently upgraded and I did not realize the menus changed a little.
Tools, Options, Privacy (looks like a padlock at the top of the Options window):
My personal selection; check Accept cookies from sites, Keep Until (I chose "I close Firefox")
Then, I add the web sites that require a logon ID to the Exceptions window.
Looks like some new options I need to go look at.
mdawg4X4,
Thanks for trying to help me, but I am just not smart enough to figure all this computer stuff out. I am lucky I can even post here let alone fine tune anything. It isn't all that difficult to log in, my only problem is remembering to log out.
Are you saying it may have something to do with my anti-virus program? I am using Kaspersky and haven't a clue as to how to deal with it.
