What are you going for? The banks has the largest diameter pipes, while the Nismo is like the rest of the catbacks out there.
looking for as much power gain as possible, with a deep sound, without a loud tractor like noise you get from shaving the stock muffler off any vehicle
too late now. got something better and saved 200 dollars too
Why not a Magnaflow...going to get 1 when i get my tax return...which should be here in a couple of weeks...
so you got an exhaust system for 300 bux? do tell, please
custom 3 inch catback with imco turbo series 929 muffler and chrome tip,
HMMM I personally would have popped for the stainless and a few more bucks since i keep my vehicles forever...
why?? its heavier, costs more, and also makes that flashy "look at me" noise, thats extremely cliche by now....id rather make the same power sounding 70% stock. besides, if you drive it 200 miles a day like i do, the noise gets unbearable after a while. and as far as durability goes, i sprayed on primer and painted the whole exhaust black, so rust isnt an issue
so how did this new system help? did you lose any low end power?
it regained the low end i lost from my intake, which means im back to stock low end....but starting at 3750 rpm, intake an exhaust make for a significant improvement in sound and acceleration. my frontier outaccelerates same configuration titans with identical mods, and no WOT restrictions eighter

Unless you use aluminized pipes, they will rust even stainless can rust. and I am not talking about noise, the stock system is stainless, I prefer long lasting and performance along with good looks,,,,weight neglibible its not a race car looking to shed a couple pounds.
if your talking cat back, I have the banks pipes and a 30" magnaflo. The tech that put in the banks kit said he hasn't seen a kit this nice. The fit needed no modification and the fit was outstanding
the long muffler makes it quiet off the gas want and loud when you stomp it. the power gains were noticable and hopefully Rudy my customer at Manictechracing.com will dyno the thing for me tonight.

Very cool, post your dyno sheet when you get a chance!
