1. Open hood
2. Pop center of all 6 plastics tabs on front of hood

3. There are 2 tabs on each side of the grill. Use a flat head screwdriver twist 45 degrees and push back, probably the most difficult part of the entire removal

6. To separate the chrome cover from the black piece press the chrome tabs separating the tab holders with a flat head screwdriver. Do it methodically and pull apart. ( took the longest out all the steps.

thanks for the write-up this will come in handy to me someday for sure. any day pics of the new grille?
I will take some pics in the daylight the night shots show the egg crate too much

yeah i was thinking the same thing. i see you have the bottom opening matched as well. real cool :smt023
The bottom piece is there for show only I have to cut it down to fit the hole still. It was made for an Le grill. The egg crate shows still during the day, I think I am going to have to cut it out.
i thought the LE lower opening was smaller than the chrome bumpers?

When I was researching the parts post, I found this statement in one of the websites

<!-- l --><a class="postlink-local" href="http://frontyspot.com/frontier/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=735]viewtopic.php?f=4&t=735[/url]<!-- l -->

"When ordering a bottom piece make sure to measure the SE model will measure across the bottom, 38 3/4" wide and the LE model will measure across the bottom, 37 3/4" wide"

Is this not correct?

Looking good!! How has that been holding up for you? Any rusting/maintenance issues?
no maintenance, just wiping it off. Getting is powder coated made the whole difference.
