"I'm dressed to kill why you think they call it a wardrobe" Crooked I
Today's cryptoquote:
And love makes one calmer about many things, and that way, one is more fit for one's work. Vincent Van Gogh
As you can see the quotes are often suited for the day that they come out. I love working these things and often wonder if I should not have gone into the work of deciphering secret codes. The intrigue of it all.

Correction for one of my earlier quotes. It was said by Robert Louis Stevenson, not Barbara Johnson. Sorry for the error.
Life is not a matter of holding good cards, it's playing a poor hand well.

I saw a quote in this morning's paper that is so apropos.
"We have the best Congress that money can buy".
This quote was by the late great Oklahoma humorist, Will Rogers. He made this statement last century. I wonder what he would think if he could see what is going on now? I wish we still had him because he certainly did deal the politicians of that day much misery.

Far from it!

There, I just quoted you!
Actually, I have never been a quote person. I'm trying.
mdawg4x4,
I am not sure that much of what I have to say is worth quoting, but your other quote was quite good. I like most of these quotes because they make you think and that often makes you take action. So keep them coming, they are almost as good as picture to me, in fact some times better.

It is very easy to manage your neighbor's business, but our own sometimes bothers us. Josh billings

Brotherhood is not just a Bible word. Out of comradeship can come and will come the happy life for all. Heywood Broun
This one has a little too much of a socialistic overtone for me.
