What is the difference in a CEO mismanaging a company, and getting them in financial troubles these days, and our elected officials mismanaging our tax payer dollars, doing the same thing for the financial stability of this country.

They officially work for us, don't they? Anybody know where to get a list of all the Senator and Representative e-mail addresses, as well as the President and his cabinet. I would like to put together a distribution list and do a mass e-mail. I know my Senator and Reps communicate through a web site. I do not want to have to go to each web site.

I have been burdened by the question above, and ask them ALL the same thing.
1. How can you criticize the CEOs from the big 3 for taking separate planes to DC, when our elected public officials do the same thing.
2. Pelosie has her own personal jumbo jet to fly her back and forth from CA to DC every week. I say, "If she wants to work in DC, move her 4$$ to DC. She can make 4 trips per year to see her constituents back home. DELTA is ready when she is.
3. Hillary flies all over the world. We, in Engineering, have adopted teleconferences and an occasional video conference to reduce the number of trips required for work. I say our elected officials do the same.
4. I got no raise or bonus this year, but our elected officials have done a wonderful job to ensure they get theirs. All they have to do, is be out the day theirs automatically passes. THEY ARE REQUIRED TO VOTE AGAINST A RAISE TO FORGO A PAY INCREASE!
5. PORK! Need I say more. Nobody even knows the extend of it.

I say PELOSIE!!!
For those of you who may have missed the thread about being politically correct, http://www.frontyspot.com/frontier/viewt...=28&t=2431. You will understand the previous expression!

Mad already on a Monday morning.
At this point I don't think contacting your senators and representatives will accomplish much. They are pretty much thumbing their collective noses at us. Your best hope is to vote the rascals out starting in 2010 In Oklahoma we are fortunate to have Tom Coburn as one of our senators, but he has not made up his mind if he will run again in 2010. He has dealt the Senate misery by fighting pork.

He did vote for the first stimulus package, but at that point he thought there might be a gridlock if he did not. He has pretty much voted against all other pork and ear marks. He is not very well liked in DC.

I share your frustration, just keep attending all of the tea parties coming up even if you have to take off from work. If we protest long enough and loud enough we just might make some of the incumbents start to listen to us, especially if they are up for re-election in 2010.
